WHAT TO EXPECT

The Digital Product Platform ( DPP ) has been created to enable us to meet our customers future needs, providing comprehensive on-board and off-board capabilities that enable delivery of ACES ( Autonomous, Connected, Electrified, and Shared ) products.

With a step increase in centralised compute capability, we can reduce the number of ECUs on the vehicle and focus more of our time on the functions that deliver a modern luxury customer experience whilst achieving the highest standards in vehicle security.

We are responsible in the Body Systems and Software Domain for the System and sub-system engineering and integration of the majority of the body functions including Security and Closures, and we also engineer our software solutions in-house.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

• Lead the Systems Engineering delivery for all of the Security related systems including digital keys, stolen vehicle tracking, locking, alarm, and start-authorisation, working in partnership with Security Attribute and Delivery teams
• Develop the requirements, test cases, configuration management, architectures and circuits, interfaces
• Responsible for on-site software acceptance and availability for System Owners to perform their DVPs, and Co-ordinate with the SW / Systems / Integration squads to facilitate Level 4 / 5 testing
• Continuously seeking improvements, capturing new requirements and responding to security threats
• Ensure full EE-Sub-System compatibility across the DPP domains ( eg IVI, SW Platform, SOTA )
• Lead the Sub-System investigations for ITP – CAN / LIN log analysis etc..

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Automotive product development and lifecycle experience in the Electrical / Software domain
• Proven engineering strategy development and implementation
• Demonstrable evidence of working with agile delivery methods as a product owner
• Experience with Systems Engineering practices and leadership of software projects
• Understanding of on-board and off-board Electrical architectures
